My name is A'sia and I am the owner of HnA. I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio I am afro caribbean (black and Panamanian) which just means I'm a black women ;) I always enjoyed taking care of people in different capacities I am a healer, and so it was only right  I developed a desire to create a business that offered healing and affordable healthcare to my community.

At the age of 25, I was diagnosed with fibroids, but the way in which I discovered my condition may not be surprising to most women. For three months, I experienced excruciating stomach pains and heavy menstrual bleeding that wouldn't cease. Despite consulting with my OBGYN, who advised that there was nothing wrong and offered birth control to alleviate the bleeding, I declined and requested an ultrasound. I had a strong sense that something was amiss and believed that my body was trying to communicate this to me through these symptoms. It's important to understand that symptoms are a sign that there is an underlying problem, and merely addressing the symptoms without addressing the root cause can exacerbate the issue and lead to more significant health concerns.

After my ultrasound, the doctor informed me that nothing was detected. However, I remained skeptical and obtained a copy of the results, which revealed the presence of three uterine fibroids. Although I felt validated, I was also dismayed by the fact that I couldn't trust my doctor, whose duty is to safeguard my health. It was at that point that I delved into researching herbs and created my first two teas: "No More Fibroids" and "Regulate Menstrual Cycle Tea." These teas proved to be life-saving for me.

Recognizing the transformative power of herbal remedies, I felt compelled to share these mixtures with others. Through the launch of She Heals Tea, I began with a selection of 7 teas, and after a rebrand, Herbs n Asia was born. We offered an extensive range of over 150 products, including teas, tinctures, capsules, as well as an online course and a few published books. All of our products are a result of listening to our customers along with input from family and friends, and are crafted with love. We plan to expand our offerings to include products for babies and children, and much more. Today we do not offer those products but we do offer the recipes! After almost 10 years of service to my customers they now can make and benefit from my signature products in more ways then one!
